RE/MAX Real Estate
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We're the Real Estate Leaders. No one in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX.
RE/MAX at a glance:
Who we are
What began in Denver, Colo., in 1973 as "a pad of paper and a dream" is now a global real estate franchise network that spreads across 39 countries and eight territories, on six continents.
Network size
The revolutionary RE/MAX Concept of enabling real estate professionals to maximize their business potential has evolved into an organization of more than 72,000 Sales Associates in more than 4,200 offices worldwide.
RE/MAX Sales Associates
RE/MAX Associates, on average, lead the industry in production, experience, and professional designations.
The RE/MAX Balloon logo
The red, white and blue RE/MAX Balloon, with its "Above the Crowd!®"slogan, is one of the most recognizable business logos in the world. With nearly 90 RE/MAX Hot Air Balloons around the globe, RE/MAX has the world's largest balloon fleet.
An industry leader
RE/MAX is the No. 1 real estate organization in Canada and in the United States.
Global expansion
The first RE/MAX region outside the United States and Canada was the Caribbean Basin, opened in 1991. It was followed two years later by RE/MAX of Mexico. In 1995, RE/MAX expanded into Southern Africa, Spain, Israel, Italy, and Germany. Since then, RE/MAX regions have become established in across Europe, in Asia, and in Australia.
Record RE/MAX production
In 1999, RE/MAX Associates were involved in more than 1 million sales transaction sides within a single year in the United States alone – an industry milestone. The audited production figures represent the most transaction sides in a single year ever recorded by any real estate network. The RE/MAX network has repeated the feat ever since.
The RE/MAX Concept
RE/MAX stands for "real estate maximums."
In exchange for paying a management fee and a share of the monthly office overhead, RE/MAX Associates keep the maximum allowed amount of their commissions and receive the many benefits of RE/MAX programs and services.
By offering Associates maximum commissions and maximum career freedom, RE/MAX influenced competitors to re-examine and adjust their own policies toward sales agents, thus dramatically changing the industry.
As the network grew, renowned for its top producers and quality service to consumers, so did support programs, making RE/MAX a dynamic force in real estate education and technology.
The organization was one of the first real estate companies to have its own proprietary television network and one of the first in the industry to develop a site on the World Wide Web.
Committed to real estate service
In a business environment of mergers and acquisitions, RE/MAX is the only major real estate network still owned and directed by its founders.
RE/MAX commitment to its membership has led to an ever-increasing number of accolades from the business community at large, including selection of RE/MAX as the best in the business. In its annual ranking of top franchises, Entrepreneur magazine named RE/MAX the number one real estate services franchise in 2000. On the consumer front, Worth magazine honored RE/MAX in both 1999 and 2000 with its prestigious "Readers' Choice" award as the best real estate brokerage.
More than 29 Years Above the Crowd
RE/MAX - now an established industry leader - will celebrate its 30th anniversary at the 2003 RE/MAX International Convention. Young in years but mature in experience, RE/MAX looks ahead to even greater development and success in its next quarter century.
Community Involvement
Community involvement is highly valued at all levels of the RE/MAX organization - from individual Associates to RE/MAX offices, regions, and RE/MAX International.
RE/MAX cause marketing and charity fund raising take on many forms:
Most recently, RE/MAX has become a national co-sponsor of the Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program at Komen Race for the Cure® events.
The RE/MAX organization has been the official real estate sponsor of the Children's Miracle Network since 1992.
Each year, about 20 charities host fund-raising golf tournaments at Sanctuary, the private course of RE/MAX International co-founders Dave and Gail Liniger.
RE/MAX International is the first major sponsor of The Wildlife Experience, a conservation and community center promoting understanding of the natural world and its conservation through art and education.

WE HAVE THE EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE OF THE LAKES YOU NEED IN A LAKEFRONT REALTOR!
My family and I enjoy full-time lakefront living. We enjoy boating, swimming and watching the beautiful sunsets. We are very happy here - Won't you come join us? I have helped many buyers realize their DREAMS of owning lakefront property on Lakes Hartwell & Keowee. I can describe to you what "Lake Living" is all about. Elegant dinners at "The Galley" restaurant while watching the warm red sun seemingly melt into the waters of Hartwell lake, informal suppers & karaoke at "Charlie T's" on the deck overlooking the lake and of course Clemson football season - you can go to the games by boat (IMAGINE THAT!).
About Parker Quigley
My first memorable experience enjoying family vacations on the water was at age 8 while visiting my grandparents summer home, "Hackbush", located on the shores of the Rappahannock River in Whitestone, Virginia. I remember swimming & playing all day long with my little sister only to be stopped by the call for dinner. A feast of Steamed Chesapeake Blue Crabs all laid out on newsapaper with lots of lemonade to quench the thirst caused by a combination of the hot summer sun and the spicy hot crab.
When I was around 12 years old I remember what I thought was the most beautiful site I would ever behold. My family was visiting Pensacola, Florida to see if this was where my father would be interested in beginning his medical career in Cardiology. We decided to take a drive out to the beach. The first leg of our journey was to cross "3 Mile Bridge" that rises high above Pensacola Bay and takes you midway to Gulf Breeze. I remember gazing out of the car window at the wide expanse of water glistening in the bright sunlight and thinking," This is just amazing!"
My love for the water has been with me for many years and it's so ironic that I would end up living on Lake Hartwell just exactly like many of the people I've sold Lakefront homes to during my real estate career. I was a corporate wife & mother for many years moving every 2-3 years for my then husband's promotions. While living in Tallahassee, Fla. in 1988 I was traveling north on I-85 on a road trip to visit my family in Virginia for the summer. As I crossed into S.C. over Lake Hartwell I saw boats & beautiful water. I promised myself I would make it a point to come back to Lake Hartwell someday. In 1992, another job promotion brought us to Upstate South Carolina. We looked at homes in Simpsonville & Greenville before settling in a brand new subdivision, Neely Farm, in Simpsonville. If I only had known at that time about Lake Hartwell being so close..........we definitely would have skipped our 3 years in Simpsonville and moved straight to Lake Hartwell. We finally discovered Lake Hartwell through friends we met in Simpsonville.
My first day on Lake Hartwell was spent around the "Camp Creek" area just off the main Seneca River Channel. We boated, we picnicked, we waterskied, we swam, we sat in plastic chairs sinking down into the sand & water at the edge of a beautiful natural island and then we watched the most gorgeous sunset I had ever seen. We could almost hear the sizzle as the huge red sun descended into Lake Hartwell. It was that day that I decided to begin my enjoyment of this beautiful lake. We first bought a boat and trailored it back & forth. Then, we rented a boat slip at what was then Seneca Marina (now Clemson Marina) to keep our boat at the lake. Then we decided to move full time to Lake Hartwell in 1995. It was after my first summer on Lake Hartwell that I decided that I wanted to share this Dream Life with as many other people as I could.
Many things have changed in my life over the past several years. I have divorced, remarried, sent children off to college and worked very hard to build a respected, ethical & successful reputation in the Real Estate field. I have helped so many people realize their dreams of owning lakefront property on Lake Hartwell. I have also helped countless Lake Property owners sell their lakefront property while they struggled to keep the many memories they had created while enjoying Lake Hartwell. Representing people Selling property on Lake Hartwell is a very unique job that requires a lot of compassion, empathy and not to mention experience. I wouldn't trade my life or my career with anyone in the world. I love what I do for a living, I love where I live and I am truly blessed to have the most wonderful man in the world as my husband and real estate partner.
I would love to help you realize your dream of owning waterfront property. I have the necessary experience (almost 13 years) you need when buying lakefront property on Lakes Hartwell and/or Lake Keowee. Buying lakefront property is unlike buying normal residential real estate. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Lake Hartwell) & Duke Energy (Lake Keowee) control your Dock Permits and all of the other permits for using the lakes. I am patient, listen well and very knowledgeable (all qualities that I personally would seek out in a Realtor). Don’t hesitate to call me with any questions….I know this is all new to you and if I don’t have the answers, I’ll get them. I love what I do and I learned a long time ago that making other people happy is the greatest joy we can experience in life! I look forward to meeting you in the very near future!
I am a full service REALTOR - helping buyers & sellers and doing so with the utmost professionalism. If you're looking for lakefront property, I will find you what you're looking for by listening intently to your criteria and searching the entire market of available listings to match you with your PERFECT LAKE PLACE.
